The owners of this site have three hectares of land,
which is very labour consuming to develop at one time.
It was decided in co-operation with the owners to carry
out the work gradually. We decided to start with the parts
adjoining the house.
One of the most problematic areas is the main entrance
to the house on the ground floor, as well as the access area
for the first floor. The topography of the site is difficult
and this area has a significant difference in height,
emphasised by a retaining wall that was already built before
we arrived on the site.
For the structure in the winter period, to make it graphic
and to give a light spring haze of blooming, we decided
to play with flowering arrays in the drop zone.
Design of the rockery area next to the main entrance
area on the site near the gate.
Gramineous plants, persistent perennials, evergreens,
and multi-stemmed Amelanchier lamarckii trees
What remains unrealised at the moment is a large walking
area in the middle of the site with a gentle hill and views
from the top to the fruit garden.
